Iphone 12 doesn't update IOS

Hi there,

My Iphone 12 mini will not update IOS to the latest version 14.8 and also the version before 14.7.14 I couldn't update. The message I get is; your phone is not longer connected to the internet.

Next to that, if I want to download a new app in the app store, it doesn't download either.

I have this phone around 6 moths now and with my old iPhone I didn't have any problems.

And because I did change my internet or wifi connection, I didn't move, I do everything the same, I think the problem is with the new phone.

Also when I play games or watch a movie on my phone it never shows anything that looks like poor internet connection. My boyfriend also has a iPhone, and he doesn't have these problems.

I tried to update it while connected trough wifi and while connected without wifi.

I tried it by connecting it to itunes on my computer and update it then... I turned it off and on...

I think I tried everything possible...

So can someone help me with this problem?

You mentioned that this all started happening after switching your Internet provider. It's likely that you have some connection issues with your router and Apple devices (since you have issues downloading apps and streaming videos). We'd confirm that your network is set up correctly to work with Apple devices: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

In case that doesn't solve it, try out: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won’t update

Try updating using another network altogether if you aren't sure or still find this unresolved.

If it continues on multiple networks, then it might be best to contact Apple directly: Get Support
