I sold my watch series 2 but the new owner can not get it to work
How can the new owner use the watch on his phone. I have deleted the old phone from all the places that had it listed including icloud and all apple sites?

Did you follow all the steps in the 'Before you sell, give away, or trade in your Apple Watch' section of:
If not, how about this:
- With a web browser, go to: https://www.iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Open Find My iPhone and select All Devices (at the top). Then click your Apple Watch, select 'Erase Apple Watch', and select Next until the device is erased. Finally click "X" next to remove your Apple Watch.
It may take some time (a day or so) for the Apple servers to synchronize and remove the watch from your account.
