For Clarification:
- 8GB is the RAM (Random Access Memory) - Good for simple multitasking
- 256GB is the Storage Capacity (256 billion bytes of data). It is best to keep 40GB of that free, so that the hard drive does not fail due to full-storage.
- SSD is the Hard Drive (Sold State Drive) (does not spin - has no moving parts).
