My understanding is Mac coverage is global but do make sure you confirm this by reading the exact warranty version that applies to your Mac. You may end up getting a lot of different answers from various individuals on this forum and it is only what Apple says that applies:

Hardware Warranties --> https://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/

then select your hardware and country.
