Apple Watch won’t stop displaying 24 hr clock

My Apple Watch is displaying 24 hour time clock even though the toggle is turned off. My region is also set to the United States. Any other tips on how to remove 24 hour time? Of course restarted phone and watch. Even changed to a new face and still displaying 24 time

Hello Monk Boo,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We've reviewed your question and it looks like your Apple Watch is showing 24-hour time, instead of the 12-hour format you want. It's understandable that you'd want this resolved, so allow us to assist with that. Are you using the GMT or Solar Dial watch face? Those both have a set 24-hour time option which cannot be changed.

If these issues persist after all the steps you took, we advise that you unpair and erase your Apple Watch, then pair it back to your iPhone. A backup of your watch will be automatically created, so there is no risk of data loss. Also, please make sure you are not using 24-hour format on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Date & Time.

If you have follow-up questions, please let us know. We're here for you. Have a fantastic day!
