My Apple Pencil 2 Pressure Sensitivity is not working. Is there any way to fix this?

My Apple Pencil’s pressure sensitivity stopped working. I thought maybe it was my iPad’s (2018 A1980 iPad Pro 11”) screen at first, but my girlfriend recently bought the 2020 iPad Air; the pencil did the same thing on hers as on mine. It goes from the thinnest pressure to the maximum pressure. I took my iPad and the Pencil to GeekSquad at Best Buy today, and we swapped the nibs and that did not help.

Connecting the store display’s Apple Pencil to my iPad fixed the issue. I attached an image of the difference above.
