Connection issue with Sony WF-1000XM3 (iOS 14)

I just bought the WF-1000XM3 and I'm having a light skip every so often just as described in the helpful answer in the thread.


I'm currently using a iPhone 12mini with iOS 14.8 and the earbuds are brand new
