I have misplaced my iPhone in my house somewhere… the ringer is set to OFF. Is there a way to make it ring loud?

He didn't say it was off, he said, and I quote, "the ringer is set to OFF". Even with the ringer set up off if you go to iCloud and use Find My iPhone, or use the Find My app from a device, and play a sound it WILL play (very loudly) on the iPhone. Both harryjjames and muguy are correct.

If you have another apple device you can use the "find my" (find my iPhone on older devices) application and you should be able to ping it from there

If you have FindMy enabled, go to iCloud.com/find

Dial It:

If it is off, then you not going to hear a loud ring. So, dial it and see whether or not it goes directly to voicemail. If it does, then it is off, and you'll have to do it the olde fashioned way by looking around.
