I have my daughter’s Apple Watch set up through my phone and she needs to download an app for school. I’ve downloaded the app onto my phone but it doesn’t show up in the apps list on the Watch app.

What app are you trying to install? Note that some Apple Watch features depend on having a companion iPhone, and aren't available on an Apple Watch that you pair using Family Setup.
