How far can the watch SE fall detection be from the iPhone SE to make a connection to the iPhone and emergency contacts.

What is the Apple watch that has a better range? Or is it only used to contact someone thru the Lively service. If I am out on our property more than 500 or 1,000 feet can the watch connect with the iPhone or another Apple watch?
If it's a GPS only watch then bluetooth range,about 30 feet.
You would need the cellular version of the watch to achieve that.
