How do I delete lots of messages?

My Mail app is frozen. The emails in the inbox are all mixed up as to date. The inbox is over-full. I don't know how to delete a load of old emails without doing them one at a time.

Mail APP deleted everything I have used the mail APP on all my Apple devices for years. Today I was on my iPhone 12 Pro Max , which I’ve had for about a week, and emails kept disappearing from my inbox. Then I checked for my saved emails that were stored in many folders and all my saved emails were gone! I mainly use a gmail account. I looked at advanced settings and there was no option about deleting messages after 7 days. The emails are gone from all locations - iPad, iPhone, and MacBook. I logged into gmail through the web and checked the folders and all was gone. This is a serious issue.

The content of my emails disappears after minutes, then reappears minutes later. I think that my emails have begun to be stored externally and not locally. How do I turn off this problem? Deleted messages reappear in mail My mail has recently started to bring back messages I've deleted multiple times, in more than one mailbox. I read, answer, delete if I don't want to keep the message, and a few minutes later there it is again. Most reappear as unread; some reappear as read. How can I stop my mailbox from being clogged up this way? I've tried deleting them in my online Gmail account and erasing deleted messages (but they don't turn up in the trash, either.).

one simple trick is just use some filters in search bar like you know there are a lot of emails from facebook so in search bar search for facebook and select all the mails and delete them. it is difficult because you have lot of important emails there. so try to delete them this way give your system some tries it is not possible in on shot
