iMessage IOS 15.0.1 Compressing Videos
Sending compressed video only on 5g phones. Gives the option to download the videos for the recipient and the download is still compressed. Also, longer videos force you to shorten them as if you were sending MMS message. My iCloud Photos is set to "Download and Keep Originals", my Camera is set to film 4k 60fps video. I've talked to Apple Support over the phone and asked them to report to the engineers at Apple. This is a serious downgrade from the functionality on 4g LTE, this is a major feature that was essential to iMessage was sending 4k video and this needs to be patched. There is zero settings that will fix this behavior that I, or Apple Support is aware of.
Examples of this behavior: iMessage both on IOS 15.0.1 and both on 5g.
