Live text works on the camera app but not in Photos app

Live Text should work with all apps this feature is available in, not just one, including location.

Just for troubleshooting purposes, the photos you are trying to use this feature with, are they Live photos? If so, do you have a photo that is not live you can test Live Text with?

If you are still unable to Live Text, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support. They can be reached by going to Get Support.
