mevo multicam

Mevo multicam needs access to my photo library. It is asking for "all photos". When I go to the settings screen there is not an option for photos.

Is there a way I can get a photos option on that screen so that the mevo cameras will work?

When I go to preferences to activate it as I did on my last Mac instead of giving me options it tells me " iCloud features for photo are only available in the system photo library".
