iCloud photos sync

I just removed photo iCloud syncing to free up my iCloud storage plan, because I only have one phone and all. what do I do to ensure it doesn’t get lost after 30 days? There’s some photos that say unable to upload.

not only that, if I broke my phone would I lose it? Is it worth it to remove photos from iCloud

Photo apps sync with iCloud photo Just reactivated my phone sync to iCloud and my iCloud is full now. Deleted some photos but iCloud can still see the deleted photos and show iCloud is full and not updated. Is it I must delete till the space enough for iCloud then it will be updated / deleted from iCloud as well? Or how should I do?

So log as you maintain your plan, your photos will remain in iCloud. You would not lose your photos if you break your phone

So if I don’t back it up to iCloud it should be fine?
