Preview Notifications On Lock Screen

I updated to iOS 15. I figured out how to preview the notifications on the Lock Screen. However when you have more than 1 from the same app - how do you preview the rest of the messages after the first notification on the Lock Screen? Example: You get 5 messages in messenger from someone. You can preview the first message without opening the app but not the other 4? That’s one thing I loved previously. You could preview everything without opening the app if you didn’t want to. Or more importantly you don’t want the person knowing you saw the messages and just haven’t responded. LOL

Thanks for the follow-up info. When you tap the stack of notifications, they should give you a drop down automatically. What happens when you tap them on the Lock Screen? Let us know, and we can go from there.

I finally got it figured out! I had to change the settings in Notifications to Show Preview when unlocked. And then you can clear one by one! Thank you all for your help!

I can see in the phone animation it is doing what I want it to do. But I don’t/can’t figure out how to do it on my phone. I see in the animation the notifications from the same app all fall down to preview - how do you do that physically on the phone?
