I can't get my iTunes music to my iPhone 12

older macbook and High sierra. Itunes won't recognize my new Iphone 12. Tech support was of no use.

Can't find the phone in finder or itunes. How can I listen to my music from Icloud?

sync iTunes from Mac to XR I cannot see a way to sync my iTunes music to my iPhone XR. My Mac is a 2009 with OS X El Capitan. I cannot upgrade the Mac to another OS. When I connect phone to computer, it does not show up on iTunes or in Finder. Is there a way?

Connect iPhone to Mac
