Music history and plays not updating

Apple Music is not updating history and plays on my 13-inch 2016 MacBook Pro. In the history section it's still showing song played over a week ago and I have listened to music on my MacBook since. I have tried turning on Listening History in Preferences > Playback but I do not seem to have that option. I have obviously tried restarting my MacBook but that is not helping either. What can I do to fix this?

Hi zala_k,

We see your music history isn't updating properly on your Mac. First, you'll want to make sure Sync Library is enabled on your Mac: Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music

Then open Music > Preferences and click on Playback and make sure Use Listening History is enabled there. We hope this helps.

Take care.
