OS 10.15 compatibility with Mid 2010 MacPro

OS 10.15 appears to be limited to Late 2013 and newer MacPro models. I have a Mid 2010, so assume that it won't run 10.15? Would a processor upgrade make it compatible, or is the architecture simply not supported by the new OS?

Mac Pro, macOS 10.14

Apple decided not to support that model beyond Mojave.

There are no known upgrades that would make it possible to officially go farther. There may be some unsupported hobbyist hacks that claim to support going farther, but those may damage your computer, so Readers here can not recommend them.

The prevailing wisdom is that firmware vulnerabilities in this series processors are a potential issue. Intel has declined to issue updated firmware for these older processors, and Apple has declined to support then beyond Mojave (and installing Mojave requires a graphics card upgrade).
