When I go to Updates it says Install Now, but it won't install. I have internet access and have only used 54.3 GB of my 256 GB storage. I tried to delete the iPadOS 15.0.1 but it won't delete. How do I install the update?
I have let it sit all night and the update file remains there and will not delete. I have plugged the iPad (2nd Gen Pro 12.9) into my mac and has been stuck on "Your Mac is preparing to update the software on this iPad" for an hour. It downloaded about 63 MB of update file then it's been the beachball since.
Are you plugged into power? Sometimes if your power is low the ipad will not install because it’s afraid it’ll run out of power and shut down before the update is complete
The iPad was plugged in, and still will not install or let me delete it to redownload
Trying again and it just says installing with the circle turning. This iPad Pro is not that old, purchased in 2019.
It could be worth just letting it set for a bit.
If it says it’s installing then it just may need time.
