How do I create a widget stack with a collection of my own apps?

The first important thing to know is to determine whether your "own apps" are capable of generating a widget on your iPhone. To find out if your "own apps" are capable to create a widget, open the Today Screen by SWIPING RIGHT on the Home Screen ➔ Scroll all the way down and Tap on EDIT ➔ Tap on the PLUS sign at Top Left: All the available widgets will be displayed here. Check whether your "own apps" widgets appear here. There may be all, some or none of the widgets that you wanted. If you find the widget(s) that you like then choose the widget and add it to a stack or place it where you want on your home screen.

You are most welcome.
Glad you have the concept of widgets clarified. I like widgets as well and love to stack them in categories. I, too, would love to see some of my favorite apps have widgets but, alas, they do not at this time.

Thanks.
That helps.
I was under the mistaken idea that any app could be put into a widget stack
for ease of access. But my apps are not in the list.
