MacOS Big Sur is not installing

Big Sur is not installing on my 2017 macbook pro

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Big Sur states that you will need 35.5 GB of free storage when upgrading from High Sierra or newer, and 44.5 GB when upgrading from an older versions.


If the installer is corrupt delete it...


App Store:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/macos-big-sur/id1526878132?ls=1&mt=12



If the installer succesfully downloaded it will be sitting in your Applications folder: "Install maOS Big Sur.app"

Reboot into SafeBoot mode if your issue persist anf launch the installer form there
