Multiple Icloud accounts or multiple billing accounts for icloud

I use my icloud account for business and have it tied to my business credit card. It is also my personal account so any purchases go to my business credit card. Is it possible to charge to two different cards. I started to set up another account for personal but want to use both accounts on the same machines. Help? Thanks!

Howdy Ernesto51,

It sounds like you're wanting to have your business credit card dedicated to the iCloud storage payment, but not be used for any other purchases. If that's correct, check out the following information.

With payment methods using your Apple ID, there isn't a way to set one payment method to be used for a single transaction. The way the payments work is by ordering the payment methods on file in order of which you would want them charged. For instance, with having the business card listed as the primary payment method, all payments would route there unless it was declined. If the card was declined, it would then move to the next payment method, if you have one listed. Since there isn't a way to dedicate the business card to iCloud only, you can change the order of payments for when you decide to purchase to your personal account if that is an option. You would then have to keep in mind to have your business card moved back to primary when the iCloud subscription is processing. For information on this, take a look at the section labeled "How to change your payment method on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" of the following resource:

Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods

As you mentioned setting up another Apple ID, keep in mind that you can use Family Sharing to share purchases made by a different Apple ID. If that is the route that you choose to take, you can have the business card set on one Apple ID as a payment method that shares the iCloud storage amongst both Apple ID accounts. With the other content that you purchase for personal use, this could be processed on the Apple ID that you use your personal account with, but still share the purchases to your business Apple ID. For information on Family Sharing, take a look here:

We hope this information is able to clear up what you were looking to do.
