Hi, Molly!

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. If we understand, the iCloud options in Settings on your iPhone are greyed out. You've come to the right place to get some help!

Based on what you've described, we'd first recommend closing any open apps: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support and restarting your device: Restart your iPhone - Apple Suppor.

Next, check to make sure the latest iOS software has been installed on your phone: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

If the issue continues after that, verify there are no restrictions enabled under Screen Time: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.

Don't hesitate to get back in touch with us if you still need help. If you do, please provide the following information:

  1. Your iPhone model and currently installed iOS version. Example: iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15.0.1. You can find this information under Settings > General > About.
  2. Whether any other options in Settings are also greyed out.
  3. When you first notice this began occurring.

Best!
