Magic Mouse connect to iPhone 13 Pro

Hello, I am having trouble connecting a Magic Mouse 2 to my new iPhone 13 Pro. The mouse does connect to my 1st gen iPad Pro as well as my MacBook Pro.

Settings on my iPhone have been set to have Assisted Touch turned on.

Under Pointer Devices>Devices>Bluetooth Devices>No devices can found and I

just get a spinning wheel.

This has also been tested with a M720 Triathlon mouse which does connect with

my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro.

I suspect a some sort of software issue with the new iPhone and would appreciate any support.

Thanks
