Receiving e-mails on iMac and iPad

I have two iCloud email addresses (Business and Home) and one uwclub email address. Everything works with the iCloud e-mail address but for some reason the uwclub e-mail address does not "work" across the iPad and iMac. The iPhone works fine.


As I am in the UK this may be due to an issue with BT (British Telecom).


If anyone has had this problem and solved it PLEASE help an old codger in Wales sort it out before he is driven mad.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, 1944SEY.

It looks like no one has responded to your question. Here are a couple things that might help others answer your question:


  1. Can you explain what you mean when you say that the email address doesn't work across your iPad and iMac?
  2. Have you added the email account to both devices?
  3. Are you able to send and receive mail from either device? From both?
  4. Does the mail app not sync between devices? For example, if you read an email on one device does the other device still show the email as unread?
