AirPods max dropped from Find My

My AirPods max have always been listed on my “Find My” app. They’ve been missing for 48 hours and while I believe they’re in my house, when I went into Find My, they don’t appear there at all. Does that indicate that they’ve been stolen/reset for another user? I have old devices that I hardly use and they still show up on FindMy.

There are a number of reasons that they may not show up in "Find My:"

  • They are outside of the range of your iPhone (or anyone else's iPhone that has Find My Network enabled on them.)
  • They are no longer charged.
  • They have been reset ... as you mentioned already.

None of these necessarily means that they were stolen.

The support article you came here from should provide you with the steps necessary to try to locate them. Have you tried them all already?
