Hi,
My iPad Pro has a few holes in it that appear to have been caused by acid eroding it. It is oily and smelly which the internet tells me means it is likely to be battery acid.
However, I cannot find a single other example online that looks mine and I have no idea what could have caused it.
Any thoughts?

Hello ~The answer is in short…Please don’t try to use it . Also it could be that what you are seeing is the liquid in the Liquid Crystal Display leaking and that could prove toxic.

Thanks for the reply. It’s out of warranty so I don’t think I can get it replaced. I just want to know what it is and whether it is safe to continue using. I have an appointment booked for tomorrow, guess I’ll find out then
