unable to backup or restore from Icloud storage

Getting server is having problems, try later msg when I try to restore

and Poor network conditions when when I try to backup

I have a iPad mini4 running 14.8.

Apple support to me to update to iOS 15.

Tried iOS 15 and did not like it

While downgrading iOS software isn't supported, we'd recommend testing the backup on a known-working Wi-Fi network as the alerts sound network related. If the issue continues you can create a backup to a computer. The articles below can assist based on the computer you're using.

If you have issues creating a backup to a computer, continue with the steps here: If you can't back up your iOS or iPadOS device to a computer or restore it from a backup


We'd also recommend checking the steps here for help with creating an iCloud backup: If you can't back up to iCloud as well as the steps here: If restore from iCloud backup failed

Thanks for the information. Have you also checked for any Wi-Fi network alerts in your settings? The article here can help you check: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network


It's good that you can create a backup using your computer. However, we'd also recommend testing creating a backup to iCloud on a different Wi-Fi network if possible. Also, when trying to remove a previous iCloud backup were you seeing an error or just unable to complete the steps?


It may help to complete the update using the assistance of your computer. However, if you continue to have issues creating a backup to iCloud confirm how much storage you're seeing is available, and we'll continue to help. Running 14.8 and unable to backup to the cloud. I can use iTunes and backup to my PC

Cannot restore a backup from iCloud but I can restore from my PC.

Tried to delete my iCloud backup and was unable to do it .

My Wi-Fi at home is fine at least my Android phone runs fine

after I restored from Google Drive storage


May just do the update for 15.01 and hope for the best
