Recent Update to iCloud Mail

What is going on with iCloud Mail? This all began on 9/20/21.

On my PC, using iCloud Mail through the browser, I can no longer drag messages to folders with the mouse, open a message in a separate window (formerly double-clicked on the message) and drag to another spot, nor can I print or save a message as a PDF.  There used to be a print icon when I opened the message in a separate window, which I can no longer do. If I need to look at other email messages

while composing a message, I have to save a draft of the message before I can resume any activity in iCloud Mail. Also, cannot cut/paste pictures into an email message.

Thanks for your response Faith185, but it does not address my issue. I am not having any difficulty downloading an attachment from an email message.

I am accessing mail through http://www.icloud.com/mail/. The site no longer allows any of those items I noted in my first post and repeated below, although those capabilities had been available for years:

Drag a message to a mail folder using the mouse. Now takes several steps to accomplish the same.

Open a message in a separate window (formerly double-clicked on the message), which allowed minimizing the window to perform other tasks or viewing in other monitor

Print or save a message as a PDF.  There is no print icon (formerly available when opening a message in a separate window)

Cut/paste pictures into an email message.

Why did the functionality of this site change in September and without any notice?

Hi FrustratedNow60,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. This is a place where other Apple users can submit questions or respond to others to help lend a hand. We understand that you are accessing your iCloud Mail through your web browser and some features aren't available or functioning properly.

Make sure you are trying the steps from Download email attachments from Mail on iCloud.com. Do you see options to download when you click the file or image?

If the same continues in your web browser, you can also try the iCloud for Windows app. Check out Set up and use iCloud for Windows.

Take care.
