When transferring your data were you using the Quick Start option outlined here? Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch If so, we'd recommend testing a normal restart of both devices.

Once restarted, be sure to "Keep your devices near each other and plugged in to power until the data migration process is complete." If the issue occurs again test restoring the data from a backup: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup
