Youtube Has No Full Screen Option

I have read through endless comments on this but no answers. One ‘community expert’ suggested ‘download the youtube app’. Really?? I didn’t think of trying to use youtube to open youtube to start with. (Wall & head & bang). Any (helpful) suggestions would be most gratefully received.

On what iPad model? With what iOS/iPadOS version?
