message not syncing on new macbook pro
I just replaced my older MacBook Pro with a new one and am having trouble with SOME, but not all, messages syncing across my Apple devices. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Actually... I figured it out. There was a setting on my iPhone that allowed iMessage to be synced to my iPad but NOT new MacBook. By turning that on, I'm now able to see messages across all my devices.
Thanks so much for following up with us.
We're so glad that you got the issue sorted out.
Have a nice day!
Hello there,
We understand that you're experiencing an issue with some messages not syncing across your devices, and we'd love to help out.
Just to confirm, is the issue occurring only with messages from a specific contact, or does it seem to be random?
Are you currently using Messages in iCloud?
"With Messages in iCloud, all the messages you send, receive, or delete are updated on all your devices automatically. Keeping your messages in iCloud also helps you save space on your Mac.
To use Messages in iCloud, you need macOS 10.13.5 or later, iOS 11.4 or later, or iPadOS 13 or later. You need to be signed in to iMessage using the same Apple ID on every device where you want to use iMessage."
More about that here: Use Messages in iCloud on Mac
Thanks!
