Its been there in multiple article claiming that M1 ssd swap usage is causing huge increase in writes in TB's and this might end up quicker wear and tear in less than a year and can cause performance issues.
Does any one faces similar issues on base model.
Issue was addressed by Apple and resolved in Big Sur 11.4. Never acknowledged by Apple, so no official comments on the case. Just specialized media statements.

So according to multiple articles a base storage can have a maximum of 150-300 TB but its not gaurentiedit will continue to perform as to original spec.
I had read some article with a snapshot highlighting 12+tb of data written in a weeks time and it would only take few months to reach the rated tbw of 300TB to start causing performance issue
Seems no one looked into or having issues rather more pressing issues than this.
Any long term user's can share the ssd life span details and experienced any slowness or failure.
There are free and trail tools to get this checked . I think especially users who use for 4k or editing will have huge data written and possible on diminishing ssd life % as I see 1% on a snapshot for 10tb and most apple components are only benchmarks if efficiency is 80% or less which won’t take years I guess
