I need to reinstall Numbers

I was advised by an Apple support person over the phone to erase my hard drive and reinstall macOS on my machine (iMac Late 2012). Upon reinstalling Catalina 10.15.7, I attempted to reinstall Numbers. However the App Store says Numbers is not compatible with macOS older than 11.0. When I went to download Big Sur, the Software Update screen opens reading, "The requested version of MacOS is not available."

How do I get Numbers back onto my machine?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

The current version of Numbers only runs on Big Sur and your iMac is too old to install Big Sur. So what to do. Try this. Launch the App Store app. At the top menu select Store->View My Account ( you may have to enter your Apple ID password). Viewing your ‘Purchase History’ find the Numbers app and it should have a little cloud icon that will allow you to download the latest version of Numbers that is compatible with your current system.
