Green Front Camera

Hi! I have an iPhone 8+ with the most recent iOS. Recently I’ve been noticing that my front camera screen literally just turns green. I can’t take front camera photos, and only my back camera works most of the time. I’ve reset and restarted my phone with no luck. I’m really hoping this isn’t a hardware issue, because I am absolutely a broke college kid. Help would be appreciated, thank you!
