Siri only replies to answers with "I found this on the web. Check it out."

My wife and I have identical iphones (12). I checked all settings, line by line. We have the same iOS 15.0.1. If she asks Siri, "What time does Alabama play football?" Siri will speak out the answer - "Tonight at 7:00 and CBS - as an example.


I ask my Siri the same exact question word for word on my iPhone, Siri speaks aloud, "I found this on the web. Check it out."


I would really like to know why this is happening! Siri always answered aloud my questions. Now Siri won't. I've retrained Siri several times to no avail.


How does this get resolved?

I read this article long before posting. I followed all the steps with no luck in changing Siri. My wife suggested I change the voice of Siri from female to male. (To the same voice she uses) That was the solution. Changing the voice . . . which should have no effect on how Siri replies since the type of voice is not dependent on how Siri replies. I have my iPhone operating, but not using the voice I prefer.
