IOS 15 on my 6th gen Ipad

is the new IOS15 compatible to my Ipad 6th gen? What are the pros and cons of updating it to this new ios 15?

Yes, an iPad 6th generation supports iPadOS 15 or later (current version is 15.0.1).

In addition to the new features introduced by version 15 (take a look at the new user guide here:--> iPad User Guide - Apple Support), the real advantage of always installing the current version is to have more protection about the security of your device.

Thanks for the response. I was just wondering why It didn’t automatically updated compared to all the other updates I had (14.8 and previous versions). I’ll do the update now and hopefully things will work well for all of my apps.

I myself am waiting for a bit to update my iPad. I have however updated my iPhone to 15.0.1
