I was creating a digital signature using adobe pro on MacBook pro (10.13) and it asked me the location of the password file, so I put it on my Desktop. When I finished he procedure, I did not find any folder or file on my desktop, they're all gone. I do not exactly know what happened. Can anyone help me please.
Did you enable iCloud Drive perhaps?
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
Safe mode may or may not work, it will not hurt.
Safe Mode does a Repair Disk, clear cache files and eliminates any Third Party Software, extensions and fonts from Loading when the computer is started in this mode.
It would not directly negatively effect iCloud from functioning.
Thank you very much for your answer. I did not have iCloud drive enabled. Would safe boot work in this case ?
