I can’t update my phone

I try to update my iPhone 6plus to 14.5 but is not responding.

Your iPhone 6 Plus cannot be updated past iOS version 12.5.5 due to its hardware limitations. That is the highest version you can update to. You will need a newer iPhone to update to iOS 13/14/15.

My iPhone 11 will not update to IOS 14.6, I have 14.5.1 installed and although there have been some issues it has been working. Now all I get when I try to update is "Unable to Check for Update" My iPhone 11 will not update to IOS 14.6. I have 14.5.1 installed and although there have been some minor issues with it in general it has been working well. Now, when I try to update to IOS 14.6 I get the message "Unable to Check for Updates". I have rebooted the phone and tried for several days with no effect. Any suggestions?
