Samsung ML1675 driver ?

Hello,

After updating the system to BigSur, I have a problem with the Samsung ML-1675 printer, before the update it worked on drivers called CLX-3175, but now after the update, these drivers are also not available, I have already tried a dozen other drivers selected at random, hoping that maybe eventually I hit something but nothing works. Maybe some of you have already solved this problem.

Thanks for the help

There is no driver support for your device from HP, GutenPrint, or Apple's built-in AirPrint. Time to go shopping for a new networkable printer that is in Apple's AirPrint list of supported printers, or whose manufacturer clearly states that it supports Apple's AirPrint. This will give you future vendor independence.

Which OS did you upgrade from, you are supposed to check with the manufacturers of any printers/ scanners or other hardware

to see if the product you use will still operate under the new OS.

If you go to the HP support site for your Samsung printer you will notice there are no drivers or software for this printer.

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/samsung-ml-1675-laser-printer-series/19134532

Clicking on the operating system selector you will see that it was last officially supported in Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

If your printer has been printing in newer macOS's then you have been lucky.

You might want to try the printer drivers from here, http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net
