Wing ding

Upon start up on MacBook, sometimes, my login language will only be that wing ding font.. I have gone through settings to only add English. Help?

Nothing to do with "wing dings". Those are just the normal characters you get when the Option key is held down. Try another keyboard (doesn't have to be from Apple).

Yea, I been reading into that a little bit, I think my right side option key is having issues. I tried to clean it with a q tip/ alcohol, we’ll see. Thanks for your time Tom!
