No do not ask toggle when being referred to what browser you want.

There used to be a toggle that would allow you to not show the prompt asking you what browser you want when clicking out of an app like YouTube. I do not have chrome installed and it asks every time. All it says on the bottom is use default browser app. I’m never going to use chrome and want the prompt gone. Is there any way to remove it on iOS 15?

brengard0125,

When you delete a browser app, your device is supposed to set Safari as the default browser. Learn how to Change the default web browser or email app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If you're still having issues with the select a browser prompt, follow these steps: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

Have a nice day.

The picture was after I installed chrome just to see if the prompt would reappear to disable the phone asking about which browser I want. I clicked the wrong screenshot.

there is no way of making it not reappear on iOS 15

thank you for reading that I did not have chrome installed and continued to give me a solution I didn’t need instead of one relevant to my post.

Hi brengard0125,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you’re getting a prompt to select a browser on your iPhone and we’re happy to help!

Your screenshot shows "Open" for Chrome which means that Google Chrome is currently installed on your iPhone.

If don’t want to use Google Chrome as a browser, then you should delete the Google Chrome app. Learn how to Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Best regards.
