There is nothing in the IEMI number that will help trace the device. Your carrier *might* be able to use it to link the phone to the closest cell tower, but they will typically require a police warrant, and that won't actually help in finding the phone itself, just a neighborhood.

Sorry, Apple cannot locate your phone by the IMEI number and doesn't get involved with stolen phones.
