Question about iPad keyboards

Hi, I am having a problem with my iPad Magic Keyboard. The iPad Pro refuses to see that it is connected to the cantilevered kb and trackpad. Weirdly, it connects fine with a Smart Keyboard Folio using bluetooth. Does this mean my $299 magic keyboard has a non-functional BT radio? And is there any way to repair this 300 dollar hunk of junk?

You need to search online for your nearest, “local” Apple store location and call contact phone numbers and call to make an appointment to have your Apple iPad and Magic Keyboard diagnosed and options presented you.

Failing that,

You need to contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.

Use the Hardware Repair support category.

OR

by installing and using the Apple Support app found in the iOS App Store.
