Charger for Watch

I go my Apple Watch today. They sent a magnetic USB-C charging cable but no charger. I really don't understand about the different wattages for these chargers but, there is a charger for USB-C cable that is 20W for $19. Is this what I need? Does the higher wattage simply charge faster? Would I be smarter to get the regular Magnetic USB cable since I could charge my watch with my computer or any of my regular USB charger?

The old style USB-A charging cable will charge Apple Watch 7 but only as a slow charger. the new fast charge function needs the uSB-C cable and a suitable USB-C power adaptor. The Apple recommended minimum is the 20W unit, which has both 5v and 9v output ratings (fast charge needs the 9v output to be available).
