Changing country on iPhone

Hi,

I recently moved to Netherlands and wanted to change the country on my phone to use my internet provider’s app. My phone said I needed to cancel my active apple music subscription. I did that but I had subscribed to a 1 year subscription back in India, which will go on for another 5 months.

Now my phone keeps saying that I need to cancel active subscriptions and won’t allow me to change the country. This is so weird!

Is there a workaround? I’ve read posts on this forum dating back to 2015!!! Has apple not fixed this in all these years? Does it mean I will have to wait 5 months to be able to change my country and be able to use local apps?
