Fast charge iPad pro 5th generation

Hello I am looking to upgrade the charger of my new iPad pro 5th generation 2021 21.9”. as it stand the cable that has come with the iPad is too short. I was wondering if there were any longer cables that also combined with a different charger would charge the iPad quicker. I have looked on the Anker website but it is not clear what is compatible with this model of iPad. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

Supplied in the box with your iPad Pro was a 20W USB-C Power Adapter and a 1m USB-C to USB-C Charging Cable.

Apple market their own cable in a 2m length:

  • USB-C Charge Cable (2m)

There are more robust and third-party USB-C to USB-C cables - or many, Mophie being one of the technically superior alternatives (available in both 1m and 2m versions):

The Apple 20W Power Adapter will Fast charge charge your iPad at its maximum supported charging rate. However, if you intend to connect external USB devices via a USB-C Adapter or Hub, then a 30W (or greater) USB-C Power Adapter is recommended - as this will provide maximum power to the iPad and have adequate additional capacity to provide power to the Adapter/Hub and connected devices.

The new iPad Pro already charges at its fastest rate with the supplied 20W power/charging adapter block and will NOT charge any faster.

Sorry.

The cable that came with your iPad, I believe is the 2m long cable.

If this is too short then you need to find a way to bring the electrical power source closer to where you use your iPad

OR

Purchase a longer cable from some reputable, third party cable manufacturer, like Belkin or Anker or some other Apple Mfi certified ( Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod ) electronics device/cable maker.

Good Luck!`
