YouVersion app crashes on opening. Have deleted and reinstalled to no avail. All other apps work fine on iPad mini. App works fine on all my other devices. App crashes, Apple logo appears, iPad powers off. Also noticed that the Wi-Fi connection shows not connected when the iPad is using Wi-Fi.

I have this same issue and am running iPadOS 15.0.2.
Both my iPad and my you version app are fully updated however the app still crashes my iPad every time I open it. It turns the iPad completely off. I have already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, and the same thing happens.
I also have this problem. The app was automatically updated yesterday (10/17/2021) while the app was being used during church. After the update, launching the app consistently crashes the iPad. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app only to have this problem persist. I had to fall back to using my Android phone.
Thanks for the reply. This is one of the few apps I use on a consistent basis and I’ve never had a problem in the years I’ve used it. Fortunately it’s downloaded on my other Apple devices, but this happens to be the device with all my other relevant information pertaining to the YouVersion Bible App. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in the near future.
I too have this issue. YouVersion support confirmed that this is a registered glitch, but until then iPad users like you and me cannot use the app on iPad. iPhone app works fine, if that helps.
also, the iPad will continue this unless you do what I did, and uninstall the app until you version fixes it.
Again, running iPadOS 14.8 in multiple iPads with latest YouVersion Bible app, and my wife and I are not experiencing any issue.
Thanks for the info. All the other apps work fine. I’ll just wait until I get a notification to update the app from YouVersion. I have other devices that the app works fine. Best answer yet.
