Spotify app + Bose speaker -- audio skips since installing iOS15

Hey anyone else having issues with the Spotify app when playing music through a BT speaker, random little "skips"?

I use a Bose SoundLink (that is my primary method of listening to music when I'm at work!) -- but same issue on multiple Bose speakers -- no issues with BT playing Spotify through my AirPods, or in two different cars --

Noticed it started since iOS15 -- I'm on 15.0.1 right now -- just saw 15.0.2 was released, so guess I will try that -- couldn't find anything online about this specific issue -- and as I was typing this, realized it's isolated to Spotify+Bose !!
